Vancouver is a beautiful city surrounded by ocean. There are lots of beaches and beach-front restaurants to visit on a warm summer day!

“Mi-to Vancouver” (“mi-to” is Japanese for “meet”) will be a website designed to comfort people moving from Japan to Vancouver. The website will cater directly to students coming to study English, but will also be useful for all other people moving from Japan. It will be an online resource containing only useful information for Japanese people moving to Vancouver. It will have Vancouver weather, interesting news, the areas to avoid, links to ESL schools, home-stay information, and other useful information. It will also be a place where Japanese people can be in contact with other Japanese people who have either been to, or are still living in Vancouver. They can blog about their experiences, likes and dislikes, cultural differences, post their pictures, enter into a chat room, give tips, meet new friends ect. The company will look to gain sponsors through ESL schools and home-stay agencies and will use ads to generate profit. The company is brand new and a website has not been completed yet and currently there are no other known websites of this nature.
